MADE's PROPERTY
A former family residence nestled in a mixed neighborhood of Mexicans, visitors, and expats just off of the bustling Calle 5 de Mayo full of locally owned small businesses and two schools.
The property is in the Allende neighborhood, where residents would have the opportunity to experience SMA in full, which they wouldn’t get if the property were located in some isolated expat enclave.
Strolling down 5 de Mayo you end up on the Avenue Ancha de San Antonio, SMA’s true main street, packed with cafes, restaurants, and all kinds of different shops from hardware stores to large grocery stores. Ancha will lead to the historical Centro district, which is about a 20-minute walk from the property. There residents will find the beautiful Jardin Principal, the main square in town where many of the celebrations start and end and the location of the most famous landmark in town, the Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel, a soaring gothic cathedral of pink stone.
A modest building, the first floor of which has a small central walkway open to the sky and surrounded by a communal kitchen, small lounge area, two bathrooms, and four private rooms. Upstairs, there is a communal outdoor patio/lounge and two private one-bedroom apartments with full kitchen, bath, and living room. Individual persons will occupy the rooms downstairs and couples or parent(s) and their kiddo would occupy the upstairs apartments (other arrangements upon request and depending on availability).
